Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the RunFiller iOS application provided by Baz Studios LLC. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
RunFiller is a personal collection-management tool for comic-book collectors. It helps you track which issues you own, which you're hunting, and quickly identify issues via camera scan.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use RunFiller. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Your Account and Data
The App stores your collection (owned issues, wantlist, scan history) on our backend infrastructure. You may export your data or request its deletion at any time by emailing runfiller@bazstudios.com. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.
4. Cover Imagery and Third-Party Materials
The App displays comic cover images and metadata to help you identify issues in your collection. These materials are:
- Sourced from publicly-available promotional materials provided by publishers, distributors, and retailers
- Displayed solely for the purpose of identification and collection management — they are not sold, redistributed, or used for any commercial purpose beyond enabling the App's core function
- The intellectual property of their respective rights holders
If you are a rights holder and believe content displayed in the App infringes your rights, please contact us at runfiller@bazstudios.com with the specific images or metadata in question. We will respond within 5 business days and remove or restrict access to the disputed content as appropriate.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
- Use the App to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to RunFiller's backend systems
- Scrape or systematically extract data from the App's API
- Resell, rebrand, or commercially redistribute the App or its data
6. User-Generated Content
If and when the App allows user contributions (e.g., user-submitted barcodes), you grant Baz Studios LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the App. You retain ownership of anything you contribute and may request its removal at any time.
You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate. We may remove any contribution without notice and may suspend your access for repeated violations.
7. Third-Party Links
The App may link to third-party services (e.g., eBay marketplace listings) so you can acquire comics you're hunting. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these external services. Linking to a third-party service does not constitute an endorsement.
8. Subscription and Payments
If we introduce paid features in the future, they will be processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system in accordance with the App Store's terms. Current version of the App is free to use.
9. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that cover images, metadata, pricing information, or identification matches are 100% accurate. The App is a tool to assist collectors; verify important details independently before making purchase decisions.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BAZ STUDIOS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $50 USD.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, governing law) will remain in effect.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
